Privacy Policy

What we collect

We only collect what Mia needs to work:

• Account: your name, email address and a one-way hash of your password. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only your verified email and name.
• Birth details: date, time and place of birth, and gender. We use them to calculate your chart and tailor your readings.
• Profile photo (optional) and the mascot you choose.
• What you create: chat messages with Mia, saved readings and tarot spreads.
• Purchases: the App Store / Google Play transaction information needed to unlock Pro. We never see your card details.
• Notifications: a device token, only if you allow notifications.
• Basic technical logs (such as request time and IP address) that keep the service secure and reliable.
• Ads (free members only): the advertising identifier of your device (only if you allow tracking), your approximate location derived from the IP address and how you interact with ads. This is collected by Google AdMob, not by us.
• Optional life details: your work or education status, relationship status, whether you have children and your selected focus areas. We store these only if you share them, to adapt personal readings and chat replies to your circumstances.

How we use it

• To create your account and prepare your daily, weekly and monthly readings.
• To answer your questions in chat and keep your history.
• To check your Pro subscription and send notifications you asked for.
• To protect the service from abuse and fix problems.
• To show ads to free members and measure them. Members with Pro see no ads.

Artificial intelligence providers

Readings and chat replies are written by third-party AI providers (Anthropic, and as alternatives OpenAI, Google and DeepSeek). To write them we send planets, signs, transits, calculated numbers and the text of your question or message.

We do not send your name, email, birth date, birth place, phone number or the names of your contacts. Please remember that anything you type in chat can reach the provider, so avoid writing sensitive personal details there.

The life details you share are sent to the AI provider for personal readings and chat only as limited context built from your selected options. They are not added to advertising or analytics events.

Who else sees your data

We do not sell your data. Free members see ads from Google AdMob, a third-party advertising network. AdMob receives your device’s advertising identifier, IP address and ad interaction data to show and measure ads; on iOS it uses the advertising identifier only if you allow tracking when Mia asks (App Tracking Transparency), otherwise you see non-personalised ads. We never send AdMob your name, email address, birth details, chats or readings. Pro members see no ads. You can change your tracking choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Our own ads are always labelled “Ad”.

Our service providers act only for the purposes above: Apple (sign in, purchases, push notifications), Google (sign in, if you choose it; AdMob ads for free members), the AI providers described above and our hosting provider.

How long we keep it

• Active account data: as long as your account is open.
• Deleted account: kept for 30 days so you can change your mind, then moved to a protected archive until you ask us to erase it.
• Chat history, tarot and relationship readings: until you delete them or delete your account.
• Push token: removed when you sign out of the device.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile, delete your chat history, and delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account). Your account closes immediately and you can restore it within 30 days by signing in again. If you subscribed, cancel the subscription separately in your App Store / Google Play account settings.

You can ask us to access, correct, export or erase your data, or to object to its processing, through Profile → Help and support in the app while signed in. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU/UK under GDPR or in Türkiye under KVKK), you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

You can skip the questions or edit and clear your answers in Profile → Details about my life. Clearing answers does not delete earlier readings or chats; you can delete those from their histories.

Children

Mia is not meant for children under 13 (or the higher age required by your country). We do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Security and transfers

Passwords are stored only as strong one-way hashes, and secrets such as API keys are kept encrypted outside our code. Your data may be processed in countries other than yours, for example where our AI providers operate; we only share what is described in this policy.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and tell you in the app.

Contact

After signing in to Mia, use Profile → Help and support to send a request and track its status. Email support is not available yet.

Website usage statistics

Google Analytics runs automatically on this website to measure page visits, language and store link clicks. Google processes cookies, your IP address and device/browser information for this purpose. Measurement events include only fixed page addresses, the referring site origin, language and store provider; URL queries, fragments, personal details and form content are excluded from these events. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled.

In the Mia app, Google Analytics runs automatically to measure usage statistics. Google processes device/session identifiers, technical device information and allowed screen/action events. Your name, email, birth details, chats, readings and contact identifiers are not included in measurement events. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are off.
